Prayer Request

Whatever chapter of your life... whether struggling in school, starting a new family, or dealing with addiction, illness, or death... you're never alone at Lifepoint Church! Let us know what your challenges are and we will pray for you. If you wish, your prayer request will also be posted below, so the whole Church (not just our staff) may together pray to God that He will ensure your well-being.

Please Pray!

Below are prayer requests that have been submitted by our congregants. Please pray for these people (and click the "hands" so they know that someone did)!

Thank you for praying with us during my job search. I have an initial phone interview with a prospective employer on Tuesday, February 4th at 2:30pm. It's a phone screen to check my qualifications for a Senior Manager, Learning & Development position. If this moves forward, I would become a contractor with World Pharma, a technical recruiting agency, working for six-months on an extendable contract with Revolution Medicine, a cancer research startup. The position would be both a bump in title and pay from my previous role, and I would be helping them launch their new HR system, Workday, and taking the reins of its Learning Management System as their local expert. Please pray with us for success! Specifically: • The ability to convey confidence and enthusiasm over the phone • Perfect recall of specific details related to performance • An ability to hear what the question is really asking and to provide a good fit answer • Success in moving to the next stage of the interview process.

I wanted to give an update to a previous prayer request along with asking for continued prayer. My brother, Mark Munoz lives in California and was in a terrible motorcycle accident 2 1/2 years ago. He is 58 years old now and paralyzed from the chest down. He has made a lot of progress over the 2+ years but also taken many steps back. He knows the truth of Jesus but he has not surrendered his life to Him yet. He had previously reached a stage where he just wanted to end his life. Recently he has become more open to conversations we've implemented and he's even asking questions. Praise God we can see Him working on his heart! Please continue to pray for him. May he LISTEN to God drawing him in and recognize his need to surrender his heart and life to our Savior. Pray that he would start to recognize the Devil's lies when he tells him he is worthless and a burden with nothing to offer. My husband Dave and I have been fervently praying along with many friends and family. Dave and I have made many trips to Cali to just be with him and show him the love of Christ. Please pray for us to remain steadfast and bold. Thank you so much for your prayers. We are so grateful to be a part of this church. We love and pray for all of you as well. Love, Angie & Dave Vega

Our son, Mark, is undergoing brain surgery this Thur fo remove a recurring benign tumor. It's in a "good" place and "easy" to get to. The neurosurgeon is confident that it should go very smoothly with a one night hospital stay. Thanks.

Please pray for Jeff’s sister, Sara. She was in an accident last night and was ejected from a vehicle. She is suffering from a brain bleed, a collapsed lung, a broken pelvis and several ribs, and is possibly paralyzed. They won’t know for sure until some of the swelling has subsided. She is not a believer so praying God’s mercy and grace are revealed to her through this ordeal.

I unfortunately was laid off from my job this past Thursday. Please pray for me and my family as this laid off was a complete blindside. Pray for my job search and for God’s to direction and show me the way. If there is any opportunities that the church comes across it would be appreciated. Thank you all for all that you guys do, I appreciate you all!
